Evolve is thrilled to announce the Evolve PR Communications and Marketing Fund alongside our friends at Indspire, which invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people for the long-term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
What is the Evolve PR Communications and Marketing Fund?
The Evolve PR Communications and Marketing Fund celebrates the hard work and determination of Indigenous students who dream of a career in marketing and communication—particularly those who wish to work in the exciting video game industry. The awards are open to all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students in relevant programs of study. The Evolve PR Communications and Marketing Fund is granted annually to select applicants from across the country, and recipients are awarded $5,000 in recognition of their efforts.
Every year, two full-time Indigenous students are each awarded a scholarship of $5,000 per year for tuition costs (renewable up to four years), combined with the possibility of a paid summer or part-time (during the academic year) work placement at Evolve PR Inc.
We can’t wait to award the first recipients later this year, and really hope to see greater representation of Indigenous people and culture in our industry. We look forward to supporting and nurturing our relationship with Indspire for years to come!
